A Big Month for Aytak!

We’re excited to celebrate a big month for Aytak Khabbaz, who earned multiple honors at the 2025 National Neurotrauma Society (NNS) Meeting. Aytak received a Travel Award, was selected as one of the Top 20 Posters, and won the prestigious WiNTR (Women in Neurotrauma Research) Research Award for her outstanding oral and poster presentation on repurposing Dexmedetomidine to treat spinal cord injury, a collaborative project between Dr. Deng and Gao's labs.
